Mazda delegation visits THACO AUTO to chart brand's future in Vietnam

THACO AUTO hosted a visit from Mazda leadership on March 25, in which the delegations focused on collaborating on strategies and business development for the Japanese brand in Vietnam.

During the working session, Mr. Tanaka Hironori, Mazda's ASEAN head, met with THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong and the THACO AUTO board. The discussions focused on Mazda's long-term plans for the Vietnamese market and exploring new avenues for cooperation between the two companies.

Also during the visit, Mazda leaders presented THACO Chairman Tran Ba Duong with the "Share Increase" award for THACO AUTO's outstanding performance in Vietnam. This achievement reflects the trust Vietnamese customers have placed in THACO AUTO. Vietnam is a crucial market for the Japanese car brand, with THACO AUTO surpassing 260,000 units to date. Popular models like the Mazda CX-5 and Mazda3 consistently rank among Vietnam's top 10 best-sellers. Additionally, imported completely built units (CBU) like the Mazda2, Mazda CX-3, and Mazda CX-30 are experiencing strong sales growth. THACO AUTO also offers an extensive network of over 100 showrooms nationwide, which ensures convenient access for customers to explore and experience Mazda vehicles.
